Non-Working Designs: XSeed to redo Lunar script
By Heath | September 11, 2009 at 6:51 am
When contacted during RPG Land’s Jog at the Moon, XSeed was still weighing its options regarding the translation in LUNAR’s upcoming PSP port. After a complex series of coin tosses and white board drawings, the company has decided to forge onward with its own script rather than use the one Working Designs did for the game’s PlayStation release. In related news, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony will be released in Japan this November, and some vague time in 2010 in North America. This writer hopes the line, “All things are real unless you dream they’re not,” is axed from Luna’s song. #### that line.
Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (Riz Zoawd) hands-on preview
By Heath | July 20, 2009 at 1:14 pm
The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road, known as Riz Zoawd in Japan, hurls the player right into the action by cutting the whole tornado incident down to about 30 seconds. It cuts out munchkins and falling houses as well, getting Dorothy’s fine ass right to work on the Yellow Brick Road.

Retailers take leak, brick road becomes yellow
By Heath | July 18, 2009 at 4:29 am
Both Amazon and GameFly have seemingly jumped XSeed’s announcement gun and leaked that Riz Zoawd is coming stateside, under the new title of The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road. Both list late September release dates, but historically, retailers don’t have a lot of accuracy on that aspect of this stuff, so it’s best to wait and see. Heck, without word from XSeed, this news is only 91% official anyway. Not 90, because that’s way too low, but we’re not so presumptuous as to say 92 per cent. Ride that 91. There’s an early version of the cover art below, and RPG Land has a bunch of coverage of this game right here.
XSeed still considering LUNAR PSP translation options
By Heath | July 13, 2009 at 9:42 pm
Where better to begin our Jog at the Moon than with an update about LUNAR: Silver Star Harmony?
Many gamers have wondered about the dialogue in the upcoming LUNAR port to PSP. At this point in time, XSeed is still evaluating English translation options redarding LUNAR‘s North American version. Whether the popular Working Designs translation will be used, in whole or in part, remains unknown. When RPG Land knows something, so will you.

Little King’s Story 6 movies
By Michael | July 5, 2009 at 11:20 pm
XSEED will be releasing Little King’s Story on July 21. Little King’s Story looks to be an interesting faux RPG with elements from real-time strategy games and pikman thrown in for good measure. Players will be given quests to accomplish and using their town citizenry and resources in a pikman fashion venture forth and accomplish their goals. Sure it may not be a typical RPG per se, but I had already uploaded the videos, so here you are.
