Turn-based Square Enix MMORPG Concerto Gate trademarked in U.S.

Some Square Enix games that are trademarked in the U.S., such as Code Age Commanders, Front Mission 5, and Fantasy Earth, are never released within North American borders. Some, such as the ill-fated Chrono Break, are never made at all. Most, however, are localized. This doesn’t mean that anything is concrete regarding Concerto Gate, the newest Square Enix game to earn a U.S. trademark, but this trademark certainly could be a sign of things to come.
Concerto Gate was produced by Yousuke Saito, who produced games such as Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Drakengard, Eternal Sonata, and Radiata Stories. The game differs from most MMORPGs in its turn-based battles and random encounters. Further conforming to tried-and-true turn-based models, the only player in a party who can move is the leader.
