Rumors turn out true: Wrath of the Lich King is new WoW expansion

Those rumors RPG Land previously reported have now been confirmed true, as Blizzard has officially revealed that Wrath of the Lich King will be the next expansion to its MMORPG World of Warcraft.
Features revealed include a level cap of 80, the new class of Death Knight, the new profession of Inscription, and other add-ons. The new explorable area revealed will be Northrend, which longtime Warcraft fans will recognize from Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. This area is home to Arthas, the Lich King, who is unleashing armies of undead and bringing gamelike terror upon the land.
As speculated upon in the earlier report, the expansion’s official site is indeed worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/. A trailer is visible on Blizzard’s download page here.
