X-Edge (Cross Edge) battle system outlined

An old friend working for a bunch of old friends of mine dove into somethingorother and came out with some early details for Cross Edge‘s battle system. The PS3 controller’s four right-thumb buttons will be tied to a specific action, for each member of the up-to-four-character party. On a given character’s turn, hitting one of those buttons takes the according action.
And hey, costume changes. The ability-enchancing “form” equipped by characters will also hange their appearance; well, the female ones, at least. “Street clothes” and “gym uniform” are ones people can probably imagine, while “little devil” may strike one as pretty ominous.
