Tales of Hearts screens, producer’s description
By Heath | July 20, 2008 at 3:19 am
According to a Famitsu interview, producer Hideo Baba says that “Hearts” was chosen for the title because of its themes of interpersonal connections that go beyond communication and stretch more deeply into feeling and emotion. It also ties in the courage he feels the characters show and his own personal desire to commemorate the past…in whatever way. The much-discussed switches from traditional sprites in the regular game to realistic models in the video cutscenes represents his wanting to express both the old and the new in the same game.
