Now fortified with porn!
There’s only one deal this week. Something had to go in the column.
Buy the Wii version of Bakugan at Toys R Us and get any Wii or DS game 50% off. Yay.
Switching gears, here’s hoping the Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition will reach the same discount levels the original Fallout 3 garnered. There were several weeks where Fallout 3 was $10 – $15 dollars off the retail price last year.
In other news, NISA is offering the Badman game as a UMD, but only if they can reach 1000 pre-orders for the game. You can find out more here. This is a pretty good deal to all those who could not get a UMD of the game, what with the PSN being too hard to figure out or some crap.
Several stores have started to display a small Christmas section, but the day after Halloween all candy-caned Hell will break loose. And despite the immense kvetch-sessions about how every one is poor this year that are certain to occur in any workplace; any store will be packed with people trying to get the best deals.
There will be good deals this Christmas. It is the best way to make up for flagging sales and unmoving inventory. Some deals may only be held for less than a week. Get into the habit of checking your favorite online stores at some point during the day to take advantage of any quick deals.
With the lack of material present for a decent Deals column – assuming there is such a thing – I’ve decided to add pics of hawtness from a random RPG. It’s called a fusion of ‘reaching a new low’ and ‘delivering.’
If the sprite of the woman undressing and telling the gamer to be on the lookout for Exile II: Wicked Phenomenom was not enough to surprise a gamer at the time of Exile‘s release; a whole colony of nudists certainly did the trick. It’s all Pythagoras’ fault, by the way. And the game’s rampant drug use.
If you’re disappointed, relax. Record of Agarest War comes out next month for the PS3.
You just have to figure out how to use the PSN.
Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has it before writing them off. You might be able to get a raincheck. A lot of these deals are in-store only, except where specified.
