RPG Deals 2/14 – 2/20

By Russ | February 14, 2010 at 2:27 pm

Several of this week’s deals are online.  Steam and the PSN offer the best deals.

Target is offering a $20 gift card with the purchase of a new DSi.  You can put that card toward some DS games, or wait for upcoming releases like Infinite Space.

The PSN is offering the following PSP downloads for discounted prices: Steambot Chronicles: Battle Tournament for $15, Puzzle Quest for $10, and Half-Minute Hero for $20.  Half-Minute Hero is fantastic.  I’d dare say it is the ultimate portable game.

Several places, like Target, Best Buy and K-Mart are offering $10 off Darksiders this week, but GameStop is offering $20 off the title until Friday.  The discount applies to a new game only.  Darksiders is not an RPG, but it seems close enough to a Zelda game to warrant some attention.

Steam has Mount and Blade and Puzzle Quest for $5 apiece.  They are also offering a THQ pack for $50.  This pack includes 18 THQ games and expansions.  While there are a lot of shooters, RTS games such as Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War, and RPG Titan Quest are included.  It’s not a bad package.  It even has some of their more recent games, including Red Faction: Guerrilla and Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II.  The pack is normally $100.  I do no know how long these deals will last, or if they are new prices.

In an anti-deal phenomenon, apparently an NES game sold for $13K.

That’s all I have for this week.  Happy Hunting.

Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has it before writing them off. You might be able to get a raincheck. A lot of these deals are in-store only, except where specified.
