Similar to the first game, Joker 2 will feature a system for combining two parent monsters into one child monster that inherits the abilities and strengths of the parents. In this game, the character that performs monster combining is a monster called “Haigona” (a pun on the word for combination). For every two parent monsters, there can be a maximum of three different kinds of child monsters. Below, screenshots show what happens when the player combines a plain ol’ Slime with a Baby Dragon to make a Dragoslime.

The combinations of monster families determine what family the possible child monsters can belong to. Child monsters inherit skills and stats from the parents, so even though all of them start at Level 1, their power can quickly surpass that of their parents.
