RPG Deals 10/17 – 10/23

When Fallout 3 came out it was the deal of the week for several weeks running.  Will New Vegas pull the same happy shenanigans?

Deals I Have Used – I did utilize Toys R Us’ b2g1 free last week.  Nothing spectacular in my shopping bag, but I’m up to date on Layton.

Speaking of TRU, the store rules the roost for Fallout: New Vegas deals.  Buy the game at TRU this week and get a $10 gift card plus the Fallout: New Vegas strategy guide.  Fallout games are huge.  The strategy guide is helpful and around $30.  Not bad.  This deal is also available on Kirby’s Epic YarnTwo Worlds is $10 at TRU.

K-Mart is doing a nice deal with Fallout: New Vegas.  Customers will net a $20 gaming coupon with the game.

Target is the low bidder here, offering only a $5 card with Fallout: New Vegas.

Alpha Protocol is now $40 at a few places.  I’d wait for the price to drop further.

Amazon is offering an all-day Gold Box event for video games on Wednesday.  I don’t know what’s being sold, but give it a shot if you are interested.

Play-Asia comes through with some deals on certain PSP games (in English, even!) that can be hard to find in North American stores, depending where you live.  Falcom (makers of Ys) action-RPG Gurumin is under $20 for a lmited time.  Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is only $18.  And not an RPG, but a puzzle game that has shown appeal to fans of the genre, Shadow of Destiny is $20.

That’s all I got for this week.  Happy Hunting.

Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Deals may stop and any time.  Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has the item before leaving the store. You might be able to get a raincheck. Many deals are in-store only, except where specified.
