RPG Deals 12/5 – 12/11
By Russ | December 5, 2010 at 6:50 pm
There’s another ‘but 1 game, get the second 50% off’ this week. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm has some deals, and Fable III is a little cheaper.
Toys R Us is doing the sale this week. All video games and accessories are ‘buy 1 get 1 50% off’. The second game must be of equal or lesser value.
Best Buy is going all-out for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. WoW is $10, and Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King are $20 apiece. Of course, for $40 bucks I think the Battlechest might have all of that.
K-Mart is offering a $15 coupon on all PC games prices $39.99 or more. This includes not only Cataclysm, but Starcraft II and Final Fantasy XIV. PS3 Greatest Hits titles are on sale for $20 each. Demon’s Souls is part of this line.
Target has Fable III on sale for $50 this week.
Amazon.com is running different, video-game themed sales until Christmas. Blizzard PC Games are tomorrow.
Holiday Advice:
I noticed some flurries today and realized that some full-on snow might be in order for the Northern part of the US. So here’s my advice for actual bad weather. If there’s three or more inches of snow falling outside, you don’t need to be out shopping. Your truck or other exquisite mode of transportation does not matter; you don’t need to be out shopping. Retail workers will get fired for not showing up, but they’ll get let out early if no one shows up. By walking into a retail place during a time when your job would shut down for inclement weather, you are potentially delaying a worker’s safe return home. You are also endangering yourself with bad road conditions. I understand there’s a lot of must-have stuff for the holidays, but that’s what internet shopping and shipping is for.
That’s all I got for this week. Happy Hunting.
