RPG Deals 3/11 – 3/17

By Russ | March 11, 2012 at 6:48 pm

No deals for this week, folks.  Just a little advice.

If you’ve been holding on to some RPGs in your collection and find yourself thinking it’s time to trim the fat down, don’t take those titles to GameStop unless they’re published by EA.  Pop those titles online and sell them for a at least a little to a bit more.  This is especially true if you possess some uncommon titles.  Many PS2 games are beginning to fall into this category since few-to-no shops stock the titles.  e-bay and Amazon are familiar haunts, but sites like cheapassgamer.com have the option of connecting with other users and trading the title with them.  This is another way to increase the value of your game – that copy of Persona 3 FES might be $5 to Amazon or GameStop, but it’s worth a copy of Lost Odyssey to some dude.

That’s it for this week.  Happy Hunting.

Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Deals may stop and any time. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has the item before leaving the store. You might be able to get a raincheck. Many deals are in-store only, except where specified. This column brought to you by The Space Purrier.
