Only two releases this month – but both are pretty big titles.
If you’ve been paying attention the Vita store on the PSN, you’ll notice a great deal of PSP and PS1 RPGs are becoming Vita compatible.

Borderlands 2, published by 2K Games (360, PC, PS3). The sequel to Gearbox’s highly addictive and flagrantly awesome First-Person Shooter and RPG loot-fest arrives this day. These games are supreme with a friend or few, but also make for an enjoyable solo experience.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, published by Activision-Blizzard (Mac, PC). Pandas! In the MMO lands! World of Warcraft releases its fourth expansion for the MMO, featuring a race of playable anthropomorphic pandas called the Pandaren.
Some Advice: Both of this month’s games will be around for months to come. I’m personally waiting on Borderlands 2: GOTY edition.
The Future: Handhelds have it with Persona 4: The Golden and Ragnarok Odyssey. Dishonored arrives in October for the current HD systems, but I’ll have to research it to see if it’s an RPG. And that’s really it for the rest of the year. Come January, the PS3 will see some good titles beginning with Ni no Kuni, something my wife and look forward to a lot.
All release dates are subject to change. Games available for download will have varying or staggered release dates. The views of this column do not reflect the views of RPG Land. This column brought to you by the simple upgrade system in The Last Story. Love it when it’s simple.
