Three releases. Did the upcoming scary game scare away the new ones?
Titles shipping week of October 12
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, published by 2K Games (360, PS3). Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has the player working with Handsome Jack as he builds his power-base. More guns, more explosions, and more Borderlands.
Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord, published by Atlus (PS3). North America never saw the first Tears to Tiara game – a watered-down version of a PC hentai RPG ported to the PS3 sans some sexiness – but the second title has none of that scheisse. Instead, the game is about reclaiming your homeland from a Divine Emperor. Supposedly the title clocks in at 80 hours.
Titles shipping week of October 19
Fantasy Life, published by Nintendo (3DS). Huh. This is either a free-form action RPG or the world’s most open Zelda game.
Some Advice: Tears to Tiara II – late life PS3 game? Yeah, prolly better get it sooner rather than later.
The future: Kingdom Hearts 2 HD, some Pokemon games that are supposed to be the end all be all and some such.
