You’d think with me being quarantined this would have gotten out faster.

I hope everyone is doing well. It looks like many people will have some extra time on their hands. Let’s try to fill that time with something fun.

Animal Crossing on the Switch has taken the United States by storm. It’s the perfect time sink for a lot of people at the moment.

Trails of Cold Steel III was released on the PC this month. While considered a decent jumping on point for the Cold Steel series (and it is); if you want max lore or enjoyment I’d recommend to start from Trails in the Sky FC, also out on PC. Having said that; I easily poured 100 hours into my first playthrough of the game.

The Kingdom Hearts: All in One Package is out. This contains The Story So Far and Kingdom Hearts III in one box. If you’ve been curious about the series; here’s the best way to get into it.

Langrisser I&II was released on the PS4 and Switch earlier this month. A series of tactical RPGs reworked to be faster paced and thus, more engaging. The player can switch between the original incredibly 80’s designs or the more modern redesigns which evoke Fire Emblem, in what is probably a solid marketing choice. I went full 80’s, by the way. A demo is available to try.

Nioh 2 and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX also saw release this month. The Mystery Dungeon games are a long-running franchise. Nioh definitely has a solid fanbase.

Persona 5: The Royal is the extra features re-release all Persona titles have gotten – yes, even Persona and both Persona 2 titles via PSP – with new characters, social links and dungeons. The game comes out 3/31/20.

PC title Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is also out 3/31/20.

Part 1 of the Final Fantasy VII: Remake for PS4 is scheduled to hit stores early April. The demo is available for this as well, and it’s worth a shot to see the differences and determine if this title is for you.

As a final note; please be aware physical copies of games may be running late due to a lot of the US being shut down. Digital copies will speed up your need to play significantly.

Be well. Have fun.
