July is a conflict for my time.

Dawntrail and Trails through Daybreak are both out within a week. Like, how do I budget time?

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail‘s early access launch is currently going smooth. The enormous waits of prior expansions have been cut down; though a few outliers are still to be had. The game officially launches July 2nd.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak launches July 5th. Trails into Reverie finished up the plotlines in Western Zemuria, and for the first time players are in the Republic of Calvard. The game features a new hybrid battle system not seen in previous Trails titles.

Another Nihon Falcom game sees release this month: Tokyo Xanadu eX+ for the Switch. The game has previously been released on the PSVita and PS4. It’s a good dungeon crawler, using the Trails of Cold Steel story progression.

Wrapping up the month is strategy RPG Mercenaries Lament: Requiem of the Silver Wolf. The game seems inspired from the Kartia style of gameplay. Fans of the genre should check it out.
