Star Ocean: First Departure for the PSP, shipping Oct. 21.  Square Enix caps off this notorious day for releases with a remake of a previously unreleased Star Ocean game for North America (the other being Blue Burst).

Fallout 3 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, street-dated for Oct. 28.  Bethesda recalls the Fallout franchise from Oblivion.  Kind of.  Shoot explosive teddy bears at radioactive mutants in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and cap off October with a bang.

This past month also saw the releases of Castle Crashers on Xbox Live, and Ys Book I & II on the Virtual Console.

All games (with the exception of those marked as street-dated) will be in stores one day after their release. Release dates also tend to be shipping dates. All release dates are subject to change.
