.hack//Movie is CyberConnect2’s New Thing

A while ago, CyberConnect2 put up a countdown website which left a lot of people wondering if the company was about to break its word, as it had previously said .hack games had ended.  Nope, the countdown was just for this 3D movie, coming to Japanese theaters in January.
