Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (Riz Zoawd) hands-on preview

The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road, known as Riz Zoawd in Japan, hurls the player right into the action by cutting the whole tornado incident down to about 30 seconds. It cuts out munchkins and falling houses as well, getting Dorothy’s fine ass right to work on the Yellow Brick Road.

Retailers take leak, brick road becomes yellow

Both Amazon and GameFly have seemingly jumped XSeed’s announcement gun and leaked that Riz Zoawd is coming stateside, under the new title of The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road. Both list late September release dates, but historically, retailers don’t have a lot of accuracy on that aspect of this stuff, so it’s best to wait and see. Heck, without word from XSeed, this news is only 91% official anyway. Not 90, because that’s way too low, but we’re not so presumptuous as to say 92 per cent. Ride that 91.
