Tales of Xillia now Japan’s most anticipated game

With lots of gamers now able to get their hands on Catherine, RPGs once again creep back to the top spots on Japan’s most wanted list.

Note on this: Famitsu’s voting requires one to specify a system, so even though a few games are multiplatform, only one is listed because that’s the one that got the votes.  Case in point, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is also on 360, but the 360 version did not receive any Most Wanted votes.

1) Tales of Xillia (PS3)
2) Dragon Quest X (Wii)
3) Shin Sangoku Musou 6 (PS3)
4) Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3)
5) Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy (PSP)
6) Final Fantasy Type 0 (PSP)
7) Super Robot Wars Z (PSP)
Way of the Samurai 4 (PS3)
9) Yakuza: Of The End (PS3) (I might be wrong on this thing’s RPGness, but the other games are total JRPGs, so…)
10) Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3)
11) Metal Gear Solid: Rising (PS3)
12) Mario Kart 3D (3DS)
13) Persona 2: Innocent Sin (PSP)
14) Professor Muthafuckin’ Layton 3D (3DS)
15) The Last Guardian(PS3)
16) Fotokano (PSP)
17) Last Remnant (PS3)
18) Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 4: Summer Memories (PS3)
19) Amagami (Ebikore+) (PSP)
20) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS)

Oddly just a few spots off the top 15 is the PS3 version of The Last Remnant, apparent vaporware. Funny how they’re still clinging to the hope that it will be released.
Waste time seeing what other people are looking forward to with RPG Land on Twitter and Facebook. Think of it as reading someone’s secret diary, and then it becomes…almost interesting, depending on what kind of person you are.
