Trinity Universe official English site opens

NIS America opened up the official website for the upcoming Trinity Universe today.  Developed by IDEA Factory, Trinity Universe will be released in June 2010 on the PS3.

The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki sequel officially announced, Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki Alternative Saga site opens

Today, in a Nihon Falcom news double-header, we have an official announcement and first images of a PSP-based sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki, called The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki, and the opening of the official website of Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki Alternative Saga, a crossover title f sorts. The site opening is pretty self-explanatory, so here are the images for Zero no Kiseki:

Famitsu software sales figures + analysis (4/12 – 4/18)

Overall, it’s a slow time for sales. Not a lot of software is moving in Japan right now, which makes the figures shown by games like Fist of the North Star, Tomodachi Collection, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Yakuza 4 during these recent times all the more impressive.

Square Enix Announcement Will Not Shock You (Probably)

If there’s one thing gamers love more than real announcements containing real information, it’s vague, passive hints at hypothetical non-announcements. And Twitter is keeping vague in vogue. Sonia Im of Square Enix America, bless her heart, apparently can’t express personal interest in a Square Enix game on her Twitter without the whole internet jumping on it. Worse still, the coming announcement isn’t going to be one that blows up the gaming world.
