Item Getter…and “trader” apparently

The newly announced DS adventure-RPG Item Getter will, according to Famitsu, emphasize the fusion and customization of items– a gameplay element that’s become an extra-hip trend among Japanese RPGs. One’s efforts can also strengthen and weaken existing items. Three particular skills govern one’s ability to do so, and it’s said that over 1,000 items can be crafted. As well, the DS will allow one to name one’s new items and make custom designs for their icons, and trade them with other players via local Wi-Fi.
Release dates: Phantasy Star Zero, WoW: Wrath of the Lich King

Phantasy Star Zero for the DS will hit Japanese retailers on Dec. 25 of this year, while World of Warcraft‘s next expansion, Wrath of the Lich King will be available on Nov. 15.
