Persona 2 coming to North American PSPs

Over 10 years ago, NA gamers got one half of the Persona 2 saga in the form of Eternal Punishment for the PlayStation. The other half stayed exclusive to Japan. That half, Innocent Sin, was given an enhanced port earlier this year and saw a successful Japanese launch. Hoping to match that success, Atlus USA will be bringing the game to North America this fall. Prior to this, Persona 2: Innocent Sin had been the only Persona title to not be released in North America. (That’s Persona specifically, as there are other Shin Megami Tensei games that didn’t make it.)

The Witcher 2 release and trailer

The Witcher 2, CD Projekt and Atari’s latest in the dark Eastern European developed RPG was released today. Witcher 2 will be part of a “DLC 4 FREE” program in which registered users will be able to download content packs for free. The first one is already available launch date with the next expected out later this month. Check out the trailer below, snazzy right?

NISA bringing Atelier Torori, Cladun 2, Bleach game this summer

At its premiere event on Friday, NIS America has confirmed our suspicions and announced Atelier Totori (PS3) and Cladun x2 (PSP via PSN), as well as the unexpected fighter Bleach: Soul Resurrección for PS3. Exact release dates are not yet specified. NISA is making itself very busy with all these, plus Cave Story 3D and Disgaea 4 due out this year. Sega Announces 7th Dragon 2020 for PSP

A long time ago, Sega made an announcement of an announcement, a laughable hype tactic that somehow excites the stupid masses. The game, predictably, turned out to be forgettable DS RPG 7th Dragon. Now, another game in the series is being made for PSP, this time taking place in Tokyo in the year 2020. Maybe someone should tell Sega that 2020 isn’t all that far away anymore? Here are screens.
