Disgaea 4 Epic Interview: RPG Land + Nippon Ichi

Two Working Designs RPGs coming to PSN Store

Vic Ireland announced today to the gaming forum NeoGAF that the North American PSN Store will soon see two of his old projects: Alundra and Arc the Lad. These two PlayStation RPGs, both published stateside by Ireland’s now-gone studio Working Designs, will become available for $5.99 each on Tuesday, Oct. 12. SCEE still has not made a final decision regarding these titles hitting the European store.

New Shenmue game coming

In an ultimate up-and-down bit of news, Sega has revealed a new Shenmue game, coming to a new Japanese PC games service by Yahoo! and DeNA. Called Shenmue City, the game will make its debut on Yahoo! Mobage this winter. More on Mobage can be found here, and DeNA’s original press release is here.

Xenogears fans teased with more music

Yasunori Mitsuda, who generally uses Twitter in Japanese (duh?), tossed out one in English today, saying “We start to make the orchestra arranged version of Xenogears! Please tell us your favorite music!” He links to the Square Enix Music official page of the upcoming album and requests that fans get in on the planning by voting for their favorite songs from Xenogears. Obviously, no final release date has been set for the album, as it is just entering the planning stages.
