Valkyria Chronicles 2 advanced classes information, new characters, 12 images

This latest information from Famitsu concerns some of the new Advanced classes and the characters that use them. But first, the images:
Shown above are three new characters that are of the new Advanced Classes. From left to right, there’s Randy Hamson, a Musical Soldier; Licorice Nelson (sister of Eady from the first game), a Machine Gunner; and Alexis Hilden, an upgrade to the shield class that I’m going to go ahead and call a “Blast Striker” because it sounds better than “Bomb-Sword-Soldier.”
Musical Soldiers are the Valkyria version of a Bard. They have low defense and attack power, but are meant to hang back and play music to improve the attributes of the other soldiers. One can be created by upgrading the Support class. Machine Gunners are basically a better version of Assault Troopers, being a bit stronger and more specialized. Ditto for Blast Strikers, who are upgraded shield troops and have “unmatched” offensive and defensive power in close quarters, against machines as well as humans.
