Tales of Vesperia (probably) not over
By Heath | October 20, 2009 at 9:18 am
As is common with the launch of seemingly every product in the world these days, a launch event was held in honor of the Tales of Vesperia: First Strike anime hitting Japan recently. Tales of Vesperia is almost certainly not over, the question is: in what form will it continue?
Amid the expected patting each other on the ass and everyone reaffirming to each other how awesome everyone in attendence was, vague answers to direct questions were delivered. Asked if Tales of Vesperia was just too awesome to stop, Makoto Yoshizumi of Namco Bandai told everyone that he and his team were examining a range of possibilities, including hypothetical full-length feature films and actual game sequels (not unlike Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World).
All these things are of course hypothetical, and in this ever-changing world, ideas can be taken off the table just as quickly as they came onto it, but nonetheless, Famitsu says that a Namco Bandai guy says that his boys say they want to make more Tales of Vesperia stuff, so there.
