The month begins with… wait, where the heck is my copy of Star Ocean: The Second Story R?

Star Ocean: The Second Story R was released late last week for PS4/5 and Switch. Except Switch orders could not be met across several retailers. Hopefully before the holidays as the copy I bought was for a gift.

Oh, and the game is a remake/remaster/remakester of the Star Ocean: The Second Story. It’s getting a lot of praise.

Speaking of remakesters; The Super Mario RPG sees a Switch-only release on November 17. Lots of changes to the original formula, such as timed attacks hitting all enemies. Also a lot of player tears spilled you may not find with the Star Ocean 2 remakester; since no one played Star Ocean 2 back in 1999.

Physical copies of Jagged Alliance 3 hit PS5 and Xbox Series X the same day.
